I have at last found some new momentum to continue my fifth book  ‘OVDA  – An Airbase for Peace’.  Sadly it has taken the war in Gaza to propel me back into the Middle East and recount my stay during much better times in the Holy Lands of Israel and Palestine.  I try very hard to tread a balanced political path and most of the time not mentioning politics at all  –  a difficult thing in this volatile region. 

My story does however remain an uplifting and lighthearted voyage of work, comradeship and travel in this epic and historic land.  I hope to have finalised my script before my next Blog entry.
